Came across your blog through another friends page. I think it's great that young goths are still discovering the scene and exploring the music and style and, speaking as a very old goth, I'd say don't listen to anyone who tries to dictate what is and isn't goth enough for you to like. Most of those people don't know what they're talking about. Be yourself and if you want to like something "non-goth" then that makes you a more interesting individual not a boring cliche.
The Sisters of Mercy are one of my favourite bands too :-)
